Wide-Mount Alternator / Power Steering bracket for LS engines with Truck/SUV (1999-2013) and Camaro (2010-15) crank pulley and water pump spacing.

Designed specifically for LS swaps in muscle cars and trucks, this Kwik Performance wide-mount bracket (K10168) mimics the factory Corvette accessory drive layout while accommodating Truck (1999-2013) and Camaro (2010-2015) balancer spacing. We have engineered this bracket with a dual-bolt pattern to accept both Corvette and Truck/F-body alternators, providing maximum flexibility for your build.Properly spaced to line up with your Truck/Camaro (10-15) balancer.

What is the primary purpose of the K10168 bracket kit? It is a "wide-mount" alternator and power steering relocation bracket that provides more hood clearance and provides more steering gear and A-arm room by moving accessories outward. It mimics the factory Corvette bracket but offers more alternator choices and clocks the power steering pump in a much more swap-friendly position.
What engines and vehicle spacings is this kit compatible with? This kit is compatible with GM LS Gen 3 or 4 engines using Truck/SUV (1999-2013) or Camaro (2010-2015) harmonic balancer and water pump spacing.
How does the power steering pump location differ from factory truck brackets? The Kwik bracket mounts a Type 2 power steering pump with a 5.5” pulley and uses a remote reservoir. The pump is tucked in and reclocked, moving it up and in for better frame and steering clearance while providing easier access to the pressure port.
Which passenger-side AC brackets work well with this kit? It teams up perfectly with the Wide-Mount Mini AC bracket (K10675), the Wide-Mount HD AC bracket (K10472), or the Wide-Mount R4 AC bracket (K10623).

Compatibility & Installation

What alternators can be used with this bracket? The dual bolt pattern fits Corvette (1997-2013), Truck (1999-2013), Camaro/GTO (1998-2002), and Camaro (2010-2015) alternators. It does not fit Cadillac CTS-V or LSA alternators.
What power steering pump options are available? It is compatible with several Type 2 pumps, including the Kwik Performance pump (10206-06), Corvette pumps, or 1998-2002/2010-2015 Camaro pumps. Note that 2004 GTO pumps do not work.
Are there any special installation notes for the pulley? For Camaro/GTO (1998-2002) pumps/pulleys, the pulley may need to be pulled off the shaft slightly (+/- 1/8”) to line up perfectly with the crank pulley. Kwik Performance pumps come with the pulley pre-installed in the correct location.
What belt size is required? The system uses a six-rib belt. Suggested lengths and Gates part numbers are provided in the instructions, though length can vary based on your specific alternator and pulley diameters.
