Before ordering a Kwik Performance AC hose kit for your OBS truck project, you’ll need to identify which AC condenser you have. The photos below show the differences. Here’s a quick summary:
Version One: 1988, 1989 and some 1990. SAE fittings.
Version Two: 1991, 1992, 1993 and some 1990. SAE fittings.
Version Three: 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998. Metric fittings.
(Tahoe, Suburban and 2500/3500 trucks carried the OBS body style into 1999 and 2000.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: 1990 was a cross-over year, some came with either of the first two shown below. If you have a 1990 truck, you must identify which configuration you have before ordering.

Above: 1988-89 and some 1990.
Both lines are horizontal. Upper (inlet) fitting is female thread, lower (outlet) is male, both with SAE threads.

Above: Some 1990 and all 1991-93.
Upper line (inlet) is horizontal. Lower line (outlet) is angled upwards. Both are male SAE threads.

Above: 1994-95
Similar configuration to 1991-93 except the fittings have metric threads.

Above: 1996-2000
Very similar to 1994-95 but do carry different part numbers. Our AC hose kit number work the same for 1994-2000.
Here’s how to choose the right AC hose for you.
Take a look at the chart below. First, select your truck/condenser year (the vertical column), then select the AC compressor you’re using (across the top). Click where those two things intersect and you’ll go right to the order page.
