AC Hose Kit (90-93) OBS Chevy - GM R4 - K10671

Each hose kit includes:

#10 suction hose (1/2” ID, 1” OD)

-45 degree swivel from receiver/drier

-90 degree swivel with service port to compressor

#8 high pressure hose (13/32” ID, 29/32”OD)

-135 degree swivel with service port from compressor

-Straight swivel connects to safety switch fitting

-Safety switch fitting

-Safety switch (can be wired as binary or trinary)

-40 amp fan relay

-Bent ½” hard line with #8 male and female swivels connects to condenser

-Vertical AC manifold, Kwik part number 045024

-Dryer/Accumulator

-PAG oil (8oz)

Other requirements:

GM R4 compressor with 6-groove serpentine pulley

You’ll reuse the OEM liquid line, but everything else is provided

Q: Which compressors are compatible with this kit?

This AC Hose kit works with GM R4, if you have a Sanden mini check out our K10669 or if you have the Sanden HD check out our K10670. Each kit is tailored to the fitting type and mounting style of the compressor you're using. Be sure to select the correct option when ordering.

Q: Why do you include a trinary switch instead of just a binary one?

The trinary switch offers an upgrade: it not only protects your system from high/low pressure, but it also triggers electric fan control — crucial for LS swaps or any setup running electric fans instead of a mechanical clutch fan. However, it can be wired as a binary switch if no fan control is needed. A wiring diagram is provided to show both methods. 

Q: Can I reuse my OEM drier?

No, we recommend using a new drier. The desiccant in old driers may be saturated or contaminated. Also, never open the new drier until you're ready to pull vacuum — or it will absorb ambient moisture and compromise your system.

Q: What years of OBS Chevy, does this A/C hose kit fit?
This kit is designed for 1991–1993 OBS Chevy trucks and will also fit some 1990 models that have a condenser with two male fittings. If your 1990 condenser has one male and one female fitting, you’ll need Kit K10707 instead.

Q: Which A/C compressors are compatible with this kit?

This kit is built for use with factory style GM R4 compressor mounted on the Kwik Performance K10623 bracket.

Q: If I’m keeping my factory R4 compressor, why  do I need a Kwik hose kit?

The Kwik R4 bracket for an LS style engine places the compressor in a different orientation and the factory hoses and manifold are not clocked properly.

Q: Is this kit ready to install? 

Absolutely. You'll get all the hardware: pre-bent hardlines, pre-crimped hoses, service ports, O-rings, dryer, PAG oil, a trinary switch, and a compressor manifold, along with instructions and wiring diagrams for hassle-free installation.

Q: Do I need special fittings or extra crimping for this kit?
No. All hoses and fittings are pre-crimped and clocked correctly, so you don’t need to source additional parts or make trips to a shop for custom crimping.
