Hose kits include:

#10 suction hose (1/2” ID, 1” OD)

-90 degree swivel from receiver/drier

-90 degree swivel with service port to compressor

#8 high pressure hose (13/32” ID, 29/32”OD)

-90 degree swivel with service port from compressor

-Straight swivel connects to safety switch fitting

-Safety switch fitting

-Safety switch (can be wired as binary or trinary)

-40 amp fan relay

-Bent ½” hard line with #8 male and female swivels connects to condenser

-Dryer/Accumulator

Q: What years of OBS Chevy trucks does this A/C hose kit fit?
This kit is designed for 1991–1993 OBS Chevy trucks and will also fit some 1990 models that have a condenser with two male fittings. If your 1990 condenser has one male and one female fitting, you’ll need Kit K10707 instead.

Q: Which A/C compressors are compatible with this kit?
This kit is built for use with the Sanden Mini SD7B10-7176 compressor. If you’re running a Sanden HD, you’ll need Kit K10670, and if you’re using a GM R4, you’ll need Kit K10671.

Q: Can I use this kit if I’m converting from a GM R4 to a Sanden Mini compressor?
Yes. For R4-to-Sanden Mini conversions, use Kit K10606, which requires the straight manifold fitting kit (Kwik Part #K10550).

Q: Does this kit include everything I need for installation?
Yes, but you or the AC shop doing the install will need to install the included dryer. The kit comes with pre-bent hardlines, pre-crimped hoses, service ports, O-rings, and a trinary switch. It also includes clear instructions and wiring diagrams for a smooth install.

Q: Do I need special fittings or extra crimping for this kit?
No. All hoses and fittings are pre-crimped and clocked correctly, so you don’t need to source additional parts or make trips to a shop for custom crimping.

Q: Why is a trinary switch included in the kit?
The trinary switch protects your compressor by monitoring both high- and low-pressure conditions. It also gives you the option to wire in an electric fan for better cooling performance.

Q: Which Kwik Performance brackets does this kit work with?
This kit works with Kwik Performance brackets designed for the Sanden Mini SD7B10-7176 compressor, including:

• LS High & Tight Mount K10780
• Big Block Chevy M4 System (K10278 or K10653)
• Small Block Chevy Serpentine System (K10323 or K10324)

These applications require the Kwik 90° manifold fitting kit (Part #342310).
