Soporte de alternador/dirección asistida alto y ajustado para motores LS con espacio entre polea de cigüeñal y bomba de agua para camioneta/SUV (1999-2013) y Camaro (2010-15).

Este soporte imita la configuración OEM Truck Alt/PS de fábrica con un par de mejoras fáciles de intercambiar.

Polea tensora reubicada

GM LS Gen 3 or 4 engine with Truck (1999-2013) or Camaro (2010-15) harmonic balancer and water pump

P-Series power steering pump. We offer new Edelmann pumps, Kwik Performance PN 6023R, or for hydroboost PN 6091R.

Six-rib belt, See our included installation instructions for suggested lengths and Gates part numbers. Alternator rating and PS pulley diameters can change suggested lengths. Always check tensioner marks for correct fitment.

General Compatibility

Q: Which engines does this bracket fit?

A: It is designed for GM LSGen 3 and Gen 4 engines with the belt spacing shown below.

Q: What belt spacing is required?

A: This bracket is specifically for engines using Truck/SUV (1999-2013) or Camaro (2010-2015) crank pulley and water pump spacing.

Q: Will this work with a car intake manifold?

A: Yes. One of the primary design improvements of this "High and Tight" bracket is the relocated idler pulley, which clears the way for passenger car or other low profile intake manifolds.

Component Specifics

Q: What power steering pump do I need?

A: You must use a GM P-series power steering pump. Kwik Performance offers compatible options such as the Standard P-series pump (6023R) or the Hydroboost version (6091R).

Q: Which alternators are compatible?

A: The bracket features a dual bolt pattern that fits:

  • Corvette Alternators (1997-2013)
  • Truck Alternators (1999-2013)
  • Camaro/GTO Alternators (1998-2002)
  • Camaro Alternators (2010-2015)
  • Note: It does not fit Cadillac CTS-V or LSA alternators.

Q: What size belt do I need?

A: The belt length varies based on your alternator rating and power steering pulley diameter and also whether you are using our AC compressor bracket on the passenger’s side.  Your installation instructions will include a suggested length and a Gates part number. You can also refer to the Gates Belt Chart provided by Kwik for specific part numbers.

Installation & Clearance

Q: How does this help with frame clearance in swaps?

A: The power steering pump is tucked 9/16" inward. This provides the same clearance benefit as using a 1-1/4" smaller pulley, but it also moves the reservoir inward to avoid steering gear or frame rail interference in C10 and OBS (Old Body Style) truck swaps.

Q: Can I still run Air Conditioning with this bracket?

A: Yes, it is designed to pair with several AC bracket options:

  • Sanden "Mini" Compressor: Use K10780 High & Tight, or K10675, Wide-mount Mini
  • Original R4 Compressor: Use K10623.
  • Large HD Sanden Compressor: Use K10472.

What is included in the box?

A: The kit includes the 6061-T6 aluminum bracket (satin finish), the idler pulley, and all necessary spacers and zinc-coated fasteners.

Q: What LS spacing does the K10611 bracket fit?
A: K10611 fits LS engines using Truck/SUV (1999–2013) or Camaro (2010–2015) crank pulley and water pump spacing, so it works with either the truck water pump setup or the 2010–2015 Camaro-style water pump spacing.

Q: What clearance benefits does the High & Tight Alt/PS bracket add for swaps?
A: It keeps the alternator in the factory truck-style location, but adds swap-friendly clearance by tucking the P-series power steering pump inward (about 9/16") and moving the reservoir inward too, helping with frame rail, steering gear, and suspension clearance in tight engine bays.

Q: Can I run a passenger-car intake manifold with this bracket?
A: Yes. The bracket’s idler pulley relocation is designed to make room for a passenger-car intake manifold, and it supports using the LS3 Camaro-style water pump as an option.
