Bolt-On A/C Hose Kit for 1994–1998 OBS Chevy Trucks (Sanden 508/709 Compressors)

Easily connect your Sanden 508 or Sanden 709 (SD7H15) compressor to the factory GM A/C system with this complete bolt-on kit. Designed for 1994–1998 OBS Chevy trucks equipped with R134a A/C systems and metric-thread fittings, this kit provides a factory-style installation with pre-crimped hoses, bent hardlines, and all the fittings you need.

Note: Requires 1995 Chevy Truck drier (will bolt on in place of 96-98 drier)

Instrucciones

508/709 AC hose kits include:

#10 suction hose (1/2” ID, 1” OD)

  • 90 degree metric swivel from receiver/drier
  • 135 degree swivel with service port to compressor

#8 high pressure hose (13/32” ID, 29/32”OD)

-135 degree swivel with service port from compressor

-Straight swivel connects to safety switch fitting

-Safety switch fitting

-Safety switch (can be wired as binary or trinary)

-40 amp fan relay

-90 degree hardline connects safety switch fitting to condenser

Other requirements:

Sanden SD7H15 (709) AC compressor, Kwik part number 10300-01

Or Sanden 508 style compressor for BBC or SBC engines (not recommended for LS engines)

This kit fits 1994–1998 OBS Chevy trucks with R134a systems and metric-thread fittings.

Q: Which compressors are compatible with this kit?
 The kit is designed for the Sanden 508 and Sanden 709 (SD7H15) compressors. For LS engines, the 508 is not recommended, use the 709 instead.

Q: Do I need a specific drier for this kit?
 Yes. It requires a 1995 Chevy truck drier, which bolts in place of the ’96–’98 drier.
