Can Artificial Intelligence Build a Better Hot Rod?

A picture of a 1948 Chevy pickup Wayne has used AI advice to help build into a hot rod

"You can't teach an old dog new tricks."

I'm Wayne and I'm officially debunking that myth. I'm over 80 and I've been diving headfirst into the world of Artificial Intelligence to see if it can actually help with a classic LS swap in a Square Body C10.

Can an algorithm calculate the perfect electric fan CFM for your radiator and A/C system? Can it find the "hidden gems" in a junkyard for your cooling system?

My experiment with AI yielded some surprisingly technical formulas and some very helpful advice on electric fans. However, it also led me down a path of "hallucinated" part numbers and a hilarious digital apology.

While AI is a powerful tool for the modern garage, let me remind you there is one thing a computer will never understand: the sting of a busted knuckle on a rusty nut or the adrenaline of that very first engine fire-up.

In this video, you'll discover:

  • How AI provided useful technical information for an LS swap.
  • The surprising "human-like" mistake and the whiny excuse the AI made when recommending parts.
  • Why "Real Intelligence" from guys like David (our guy on the phone with 30+ years in the shop) still beats an algorithm every time.
